Boredom, And What It Does To You

I know there’s no need to state the obvious, but… it’s Monday. It’s Monday and I’m already bored. See? This is why I don’t like term breaks. While I appreciate the freedom from teachers and school and the general efforts to come off as a decent human being, I despise not knowing what to do.

And I always never know what to do during term breaks. I mean, it’s only the third day in and there’s only so much reblogging you can do in Tumblr. YouTube’s all well and good, but if you spend too much time there… well, your brain will turn into mush.

So yes, in the past hour or so, I’ve devised a cunning plan to cure my bored. And when I say cunning, I mean a little bit witty. What can I say? I was bored.

What happens when you have a teenager, take it’s current boredom and mix it with the irritation borne out of the inability to find a part-time job? This.

The Complete and Utter Insanity of Simply Being

I am so completely and utterly depressed right now, I don’t even have the heart — or the energy — to get off of my backside, go to the fridge and fish out the ice cream.

It all started three days ago (well, I think it was three days ago) when I had this idea that I should make a fan video based on my fandoms. It’s the Easter holidays, I have basically two weeks of doing absolutely nothing and I. AM. BORED. So I started the video and it turns out all the programs I tried out didn’t come close as being as awesome as iMovie.

So yeah, I’m ruined by my school’s superior software.

After I decided to give that particular project up, I know need to do something else… but for the life of me I have no idea what to do!!

• I want to get out of the house but it’s such gloomy weather out.
• I’d ask my friends to hang out with me but I know they’re busy with their own lives.
• There’s coursework that need finishing, but who does that an entire week before school begins again?

I wish I could do something to make life memorable. You know that saying YOLO, you only live once? (No, I have checked and it does not mean you obviously like oreos.) Well, given that I know I shouldn’t be wasting my time like this, but… look what I found on Tumblr! Ha!

I Have Tumblr!

This is what happens when you have too much time in your hands: you get yourself a Tumblr account, despite the fact that you already have Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, Formspring, YouTube… the list is endless (figuratively speaking, I hope).

I’ve heard of Tumblr before, but I never really got the energy to make one until recently. It took me days to figure out what Tumblr is in the first place, how to use it and what the heck does reblog mean? I finally got the hang of it, though — eventually. Now, to connect my WP to it… *strokes imaginary beard*
